Domaine THET offers a unique experience at the meeting of traditional know-how and a new vision of viticulture. Our 10-hectare vineyard is rooted in the smallest appellation of the Loire Valley, in Montlouis-sur-Loire, at the heart of a world-renowned Loire heritage.
Re-evolving from the roots
In an approach concerned with respecting the environment and certified Terra Vitis, we produce our wines from Chenin Blanc, a grape variety typical of the limestone soils of the region, and nicknamed Pineau de la Loire. This generous terroir of the wine-growing plateaus overlooking the Loire offers us today an infinite creative potential to offer our customers a personal tasting. Dry, semi-dry or sweet wines, still or sparkling, our range of products is rich and ambitious. An approach in line with respect for ancestral methods, revisited by a spirit of passionate innovation for an unprecedented sensory exploration.
Classic refreshing aroma of Chenan from Montlouis. The wine requires a little aeration to fully develop. High acidity, which is well balanced by the ripeness of the fruit. Barrel aging gives important body and silkiness.

The grapes are harvested almost immediately after dry wines. The palate opens up well and is well balanced. A small amount of residual sugar complements and rounds out the high acidity.

SINGLE VINEYARD HAUT DU THET 2020
Selection from the central part of the parcel Haut du Thet. The year 2020 was a hot and dry year, hence the intensity is above average. Layered in the mouth and high intensity. Ageing in barrels rounded the wine and enhanced the aromatics.
